We regularly participate
in and support inclusive expeditions which involve disabled and
non-disabled people. The internationally based research and adventure
expeditions have focused on expanding opportunities and horizons
whilst demonstrating best practice, sustainability and partnership.

We enjoy
a close working relationship with Interventure, by providing
technical support and specialist equipment for their annual
programme of handcycling and sea kayaking events in the

fist international expedition, an inclusive sea kayak odessey
from Vancouver, British Columbia, to Juneau, Alaska, following
the legendary inside passage. A journey of approximately

We have developed
a specific course for White Water Raft Guides to ensure that
staff at CT are able to utilize the latest coaching, leadership
and equipment to make it possible to create a safe, challenging
and inclusive rafting environment.
We have also given summary lectures
at WCA, coaching conferences 1997 - 2001. A range of seminars
talks and courses aimed at linking good coaching practice
to what could be called inclusive aspects of coaching practice. |
| Plas Y Brenin TOP |

The Inclusive
Fitness Initiative is a national development programme with
four key elements; Equipment, Training, Marketing, Sports
Development. The IFI uses a combination of all these elements
to ensure a holistic approach to providing an inclusive fitness
facilities in England. We have been involved in the development
of standards for inclusive fitness equipment design since
the inception of the project.
We continue to provide support to the
IFI research programme through its involvement and support
of the Sports Engineering department at Sheffield Hallam University. |

With the kind
support of Brunel University’s department of Bioengineering
(BIB) and Emeritus Professor H.S Wolff, director, Suresh Paul
is now writing up a PhD which has its origins in the foundation
of the work of our organisation.
This research study is based around a methodological
analysis which hopes to bring together a range of languages
and individual research techniques from a range of disciplines
to highlight the benefits of multidisciplinary inclusive practice,
bringing together design, sports and coaching science and
biomechanics.
This project adds depth to the holistic
work of our team, providing academic rigor to the groundbreaking
practical design and development work.
