A Wilderness Canoe Journey with Disabled and Non-Disabled Adventurers – 2019
In June 2019 EA Expeditions are leading an inclusive expedition to canoe the remote and wild Harkan River in the North of Sweden.
The Harken travels through the beautiful wilderness in N Sweeden.
This expedition plans to involve both disabled and non-disabled people working together to undertake this demanding, but achievable expedition. Join the expedition
We are now looking for participants for this expedition and are interested in hearing from as wide and diverse applicants as possible in our mission to enable and encourage and assist in showing “what” people can achieve or do when they challenge themselves.
The Harken River Expedition
This expedition will involve a 5-day descent of the river, paddling across large lakes, along meandering sections and occasional moving-water rapids. The team will camp and cook their food, sometimes even the food they have caught from the river! And will work as a team to overcome the hazards and obstacles of the expedition.
