Research
With the kind support of Brunel University’s
department of Bioengineering and Emeritus Professor H.S Wolff, EAD
director, Suresh Paul is now writing up a PhD which has its origins
in the foundation of the work of our organisation.
This research study is based around a methodological
analysis which hopes to bring together a range of languages and
individual research techniques from a range of disciplines to highlight
the benefits of multidisciplinary inclusive practice, bringing together
design, sports and coaching science and biomechanics.
This project adds depth to the holistic work of our
team, providing academic rigor to the groundbreaking practical design
and development work.

and multi-award winning design team we have developed a range of
successful and revolutionary products for a wide range of needs
- both for disabled and non-disabled people alike. These products

adventure and activities.
Real needs, real solutions
Through its multi-disciplinary and broad based approach
to design, we can turn any requirement into reality. Employing creative
design, sound engineering, strategically placed sports science rehabilitation
support and structured rigorous field testing we ensure that effective
and tested solutions are created for real needs.
Strategic partnerships
In order to allow a greater range of flexibility in its work, we have formed a strategic partnership with Sheffield Hallam University’s Sports Engineering Department. This relationship has also provided a mechanism for influencing and supporting the development of graduating sports engineers whilst helping reinforce awareness and appreciation of their role and responsibilities in sports equipment development.
Award winning results
The Millennium awards were presented to the UK’ s top designers by the British Design Council. Both the Kite
and the Aquabac received this
prestigious award, placing adventure sports equipment for disabled
people onto the agenda.
